Heritage properties often demand sympathetic approaches. With the same philosophy of staying true to the original self, the Naked Foods brand nestled into this shell like a glove.

The design aimed to skillfully refresh an old shop and bring it up to a global retail standard, while being sympathetic to the Federation Queen Anne heritage elements. The textured facade received minimal but selective adjustments on a cosmetic level. It is these projects that Basalt Studio prides themself on; to be able to display the ever-diminishing beautiful history of Sydney, and utilising this to enhance the uniqueness of the shop. The Naked Foods corporate branding runs strong throughout the shop and works hand in hand with the heritage characteristics the building was blessed with.
